Distinguished Emeritus Professors and faculty members visited 4th-year Doctor of Medicine students at University College London (UCL), UK, to offer encouragement and support.
On Sunday, January 28, 2024, Emeritus Professor Rachata Rachatanavin, M.D., Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, alongside executives and faculty members from the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, visited 4th-year Doctor of Medicine students (Revised Curriculum 2020) currently pursuing the Intercalated Bachelor of Science (iBSc) degree at University College London (UCL), United Kingdom, to offer their support and encouragement.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity for executive leadership and faculty to discuss UCL’s academic instruction with staff and receive feedback directly from the students. The students shared their learning experiences, campus life, and challenges encountered over the past five months. These insights will be used to enhance the academic curriculum and better prepare future cohorts of medical students for their studies at UCL.
Additionally, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, the delegation attended a joint meeting with UCL representatives to review the achievements and progress made under the academic collaboration between Chulabhorn Royal Academy and University College London.
