ดร.วิริยะ มหิกุล

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiriya Mahikul is an epidemiologist and public health researcher with a Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine (Epidemiology track). His research focuses on analyzing both large-scale and small-scale health datasets to investigate disease epidemiology and evaluate the impact of public health interventions. He has conducted research across a broad range of health conditions, including communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, and mental health disorders. His primary research interest is respiratory epidemiology, with a particular focus on COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and lung cancer. His broader research and innovation interests include public health epidemiology, biostatistics, meta-analysis, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), mathematical modeling, health economic evaluation, systematic reviews, and population dynamics.
